Loading the route planner…
One moment.
How it works
Three steps, two of them on your sofa.
Pick your trip
One country, a region, or the whole road. Data packs or unlimited days.
Scan at home
Your QR code lands in your inbox, usually within minutes. Install it on wifi before you fly.
Land online
The plan starts when you connect at your destination. Messages before the seatbelt sign goes off.
Why Rebels
Three promises, in normal-sized letters.
Fair prices, no surprises
One price per plan, VAT included, and nothing renews behind your back. You know what you pay before you fly. We'd rather you spend the rest on pad thai.
Local networks, 5G where it exists
AIS in Thailand, Viettel in Vietnam, Telkomsel in Indonesia. And when your data runs out, most plans slow to 128 kbps instead of cutting you off.
Refunds in plain English
Never installed it? Full refund. Installed and it won't connect? We fix it with you, and if we can't, you get your money back. The rules
Three ways to get online abroad
Roaming with your own provider, a SIM card at the airport, or an eSIM you set up at home. Here's how they stack up.
| Roaming | Airport SIM | Rebels eSIM | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Online the moment you land | Yes | After the queue | Yes |
| Price known before you fly | Depends on your plan | At the counter | Yes |

| No bill after the trip | Not always | Yes | Yes |
Does your phone do eSIM?
Most phones from the last few years do. Check yours in ten seconds.
eSIM questions, answered
What is an eSIM, exactly?
A SIM card that lives inside your phone. You download it with a QR code instead of swapping plastic, and your own SIM stays where it is.
Do I get a phone number?
No, it's data only. WhatsApp, iMessage, FaceTime and your banking app keep working on your own number.
When does my plan start?
When your phone first connects to a network at your destination. Install it at home a day or two before you fly; nothing is counted yet.
What if I run out of data?
On most plans you stay online at 128 kbps, enough for messages and maps. Need more speed? Order a new eSIM in two minutes; it works next to the one you have.
How do I pay?
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or iDEAL. Prices include VAT. One payment, no subscription.
Can I get my money back?
Yes, if you haven't installed the eSIM yet, if it won't work because of a fault we can't fix, or if we don't deliver it within 24 hours. Once it's installed and working, it's yours. This doesn't affect any right of withdrawal you have by law. All the rules.
